WHAT IS DISCUSSED IN THIS VIDEO
Luckily, an eye abrasion can heal very fast. It will also heal without a scar most of the time. But, there are certain situations that a corneal abrasion can be serious. If it scratches deeper into the corneal layers, passed bowman’s layer, than it can leave a scar in the cornea, which could reduce and blurry vision permanently. Also, it’s important to know what has scratched the eye. If fungus is introduced into the eye, it can cause a serious and difficult to treat fungal infection. Treating a scratched eye should be a top priority, and always go see your eye doctor if you scratch your eye.
