With this case, we’re taken to a very popular destination in the United States of America – Florida. It’s quite a tourist destination for having hundreds of miles of breathtaking beaches and of course, the amazing lifestyle that visitors get to witness. When it comes to crime, Florida isn’t as bad as it used to be. The violent crime rate has been declining in the past decade which is a good sign, but come 2020, something absolutely horrifying surfaced in the city of Winter Park, Florida.
A woman, a man, a suitcase.
February 23rd, 2020 was the day the crime was committed and February 24th, 2020 – the day that would change the life of Sarah Boone and Jorge Torres Jr forever.
While suitcases are often used to carry the remains of a dead body in murder cases, in this case, a suitcase actually became the alleged murder weapon itself.
Was it a crime of passion? Was it a crime of revenge? Or was it simply a game that went horribly wrong?
Welcome or welcome back to Twisted Minds, my name is James, and today we’ll be deep diving into the case of Sarah Boone.
ON THE DOCKET: Sarah Boone, 42, is charged with second-degree murder for the death of Jorge Torres Jr.
Boone told investigators she and the victim had been drinking before she zipped him inside a suitcase.

A group of Seattle teens were out exploring a remote beach when they made a gruesome discovery — a dead body inside of a suitcase. At first they had no idea what was inside, and joked about the foul odor coming from the bag. When police arrived they confirmed that a trash bag inside the suitcase contained human remains. The teens were directed to the location using “Randonautica,” an app that sends you to randomly selected coordinates to help you explore a city. We spoke to the app’s creator. #InsideEdition Video Rating: / 5
